THE PLAN
4 sessions; 40 minutes per session
1. SWBAT use proper vocabulary when discussing geometric shapes
2. SWBAT demonstrate the ability to create a Photoshop Action
3. SWBAT demonstrate creative thinking and attention to detail in the creation of polygon artworks
1. Adobe Photoshop CS6 (probably this would work from CS3 forward)
2. Found Photographs of Animals, Objects, Individuals (make it more original and require the students to take their own photographs)
1. Describe the characteristics of a successful polygonal artwork using exemplars from previous lessons
2. Demonstrate to the students how to create an Action in Photoshop
3. Demonstrate how to align polygons to create convincing artworks - smaller polygons = more detail
