Day 1: The elementary counselor came in to talk to students about bullying. They talked about characteristics of bullies, how to deal with a bully and why differences are good. Students worked in groups at their tables to brainstorm a slogan. When they had a slogan figured out, they were asked to decide on a theme for their letters.

Day 2-3: Students used the digital camera to photograph their letters. I gave a brief demonstration of how to use the cameras and showed students examples of alphabet photography. One class elected to go outside and photographed playground equipment and the other class elected to photograph art supplies.

Day 4-5: Students cut out and mounted their letters to create their slogans. Once completed, they hung them in the hallways.
