Art on a cart

After 14 years having an art room I am now in a cart. School board closed 2 elems, displacing over 400 students. Art and music are in carts next year. Art supplies and resources are spread throughout the building. Can anyone give me some advice or tips?

I am so sorry that you lost your artrooms. I taught on a cart off and on for 15 years. I just had to be very organized with tubs, bins, plastic storage containers and a really big Rubbermaid food service cart. I had a closet to keep supplies in and left student/table group folders in the homerooms. The classroom teachers were very helpful for the most part and gave me a shelf or drawer tokeep projects on.I never left the building after school until everything was loaded onto the cart for the next days classes. Always have paper for those who finish early and a good supply of drawing books. Good luck and don't get discouraged.
