Holiday traditions

Hi! I am having a critique for 7th & 8th the last class before winter break and would like to build in a holiday art celebration... "I heART the Holidays" (?) Anyone have any fun art related holidays traditions in their class?? Thanks!

    I'm a real grinch about holidays in the classroom, so I'll be of no help.

    I can pass on my favorite fourth grade teachers approach though. She focuses on "Caring" (a character ed pillar at our school) and family the whole month. You can find instances of it in history, how it affected the course of a person...The Theo&Vincent; relationship comes to mind.

    I'm eager to see what the less grinchy members have to say!
