It involves fusing a 6" strip of glass, and then slumping it around a metal mold. The hard part is that you need to open your kiln to use special pliers to completely bend the cuff around the mold. My glass kiln has a 12" diameter and is about 8" deep, so it's a relatively large kiln to open up at 1400 degrees to bend the bracelets! Has anyone ever done this before and have any tips? I really want to try this kit out that I bought, but I'm afraid!I am definitely going to wait until I buy some long, kiln gloves to attempt this, but any other tips would be great!
