Frida Kahlo Project

Hello! I am about to do a Frida Kahlo project with my elementary aged kids. I was wondering what resources other teachers have used to introduce her life and work? I have the book 'Frida' by Jonah Winter. I was thinking, also, a video? But much of what is out there is too explicit for elementary school. Ideas?

Hello, Frida Kalho was one of the favourite class of my pupils, they love Frida. I'm sorry I write in spanish, but at least youcan see the pics. I use flowers pictures to finish the paintings and look wonderfull! Hope I help you
