Developing an Art History Class

I work at an alternative high school & will be teaching an art history course next quarter. My students tend work very slowly & I don't think I will be able to get as much into the curriculum as I would like. Think 4-6 full lessons If you only had 9 weeks with a group of students, what eras/ artists would you focus on?
