Visual Culture Art Education- Elementary?

I'm currently researching VCAE. I was just wondering if any of you feel you are successfully using this approach at the elementary level? I think that I sort of combine aspects of DBAE and VCAE in my teaching... I would love to see a really good example of an elementary VCAE lesson plan.

I took a graduate class last summer called Visual Culture and Studio Practice and have used some of the ideas in my room. Sometimes I use a DBAE-ish approach to examine images from visual culture.
