I've taken my kids to Philbrook Museum of art in Tulsa,OK. Philbrook is fashioned after an Italian villa & gradens and used to be the home of the Phillips family (Phillips 66). My students were impressed that the place was an actual person's house as well as some of the big named artists they weren't expecting to see so close to home. School groups are free!
Downtown Tulsa boasts amazing art deco design and architecture. I've also taken my kids on a tour of the Boston Avenue Church. Free tours, but arrange ahead of time.
