Holiday Tree Art is... (Collage)

This is a cut and paste collage activity. The ornaments are all art works that my art students have learned about so far this year. For them, this is a review lesson. (Artwork is mostly from these worksheets: "Art Is..." and "Cave Art Is..") The ornaments all won't fit on the tree, so have your students make it a full rectangular collage. Some ornaments are blank for them to create their own. Have fun!

THE PLAN
1 session; 30 minutes per session
1. This is a review collage activity of art work students have studied.

2. Students will cut and paste to make a creative collage.
1. Each student will need a copy of the worksheet
2. Scissors,
3. Glue,
4. Colored Markers

1. Students write name on top of worksheet.
2. Students cut off bottom half of worksheet.
3. Students cut out the art ornaments and glue them on the tree or in the top rectangle.
4. Students color ornaments or spaces.
1. Students will discuss their collage with other students at the table.
2. Students can play a game to see which table can name the most artists and artworks
