Pattern Photography

This project allows students to find patterns all around them in ordinary objects using photography.

THE PLAN
1 session; 40 minutes per session

1. SWBAT find and capture patterns from objects around their house.

1. Look around your house or outside to find something that has an interesting pattern. Knitted sweaters, baskets and floor tiles are examples of some items where you can find some.

2. Take close up and far away shots of the items.

3. Print them out on copy paper.

If students are having problems finding patterns have them create their own using things that they can get a hold of. Legos for example.
