This is a scavenger hunt to help the students find materials and orient themselves around the room. It is for small groups and requires teamwork.

THE PLAN
Students will work together in small groups.
Students will orient themselves with the classroom and materials.
Students will explore materials in setting with clear objectives.
Students will follow written directions.
1. Announce the procedure to the students and assemble small groups (up to four).
2. Hand out scavenger hunt and let the students read it over as a group and ask questions.
3. Have all groups start at the same time, little to no talking.
4. Emphasize teamwork and cleaning up your materials.
5. When student's finish, bring the group back together to talk about working together in a group and the materials location and room orientation.
If the work is complete. If the students worked well in the group. If the materials were cleaned up appropriately.
This is specific to the technology available in my classroom. If you want to adjust it to your classroom, I can edit the Illustrator file.
