THE PLAN

Chubby or 1” wide bristle brush
1 foot of paper towel
At the conclusion of the project, the students are to write a myth that their mask embodies.
Reading about African Masks
Short (you tube) videos on African Mask and Dance
Use a lot of white glue, being sure to get glue on the edges of all the raised edges.
Ok to adhere pieces of foil instead of one large piece.
If the foil rips, repair with a small piece of foil. The paint will help seal it down too.
The foil stretches slightly, so the dry piece can be massaged at different stages of the project.
