1. Trace an outline of a hand on a sheet of brown paper. It can be the hand of the student or a family member. Then cut it out.
2. Glue the hand down to a sheet of white paper.
3. Pour paint onto paper plate. Then using a crumpled paper towel dab the paint on top of the hand. The fingers will act as tree limbs. Once done set it aside to dry over night.
4. If students want to go the extra mile they can glue a piece of green paper to the bottom of their picture to act as grass.
