2. Pencil
3. Markers
4. Ruler

1. Show examples of op art
2. Explain what contour line is
3. Have students practice making contour lines, by drawing a pencil and adding the contour lines across it so it looks 3D.
4. Have students decide what kind of object they will create. (hand, ball, square design)
5. Draw the object, add the contour lines, finish by drawing straight lines in the background.
6. Color in or outline with markers.
