I like the discussion of what's good / bad about exemplars before starting. I was also glad to find pixlr.com - I am teaching digital image editing next year and that might be an easy start before we head to gimp. Thanks for sharing!

Love the lesson! Don't mean to be snarky, (and it might just be a typo) but it's ARcimboldo--if we're teaching it, we should probably teach it correctly...

I have done this with pencil and paper so many times, How exciting to see it on a computer! I'm definitely trying this! Awesome!
