Elementary [1st-5th] Lesson Plan

Pattern Fish

Created on September 02, 2012 by imagiNATION

A 3D project linked to the book Pattern Fish. Pattern Fish is extremely fun to read and the kids love relating their art to what we read!

See lesson plans below for the first 2 lessons. In the 3rd (it got lost somewhere...)
1. Staple around the edge of the fish (I am sure these could be glued as an alternative but for me stapling was quick and easy) Leave the mouth open
2. Tell kids to "feed their fish" by crumpling strips of newspaper and stuffing it into the mouth of the fish.
3. Close up the mouth using staples or glue.
