Kiln Firing Schedule

This is a checklist for firing my manual Skutt kiln with three dials. I don't always use it but it is good to use, particularly if you lose track of time and forget to turn up your kiln throughout the day, or if you want to teach your older students how to fire a kiln.

THE PLAN
Here is how I've set-up this check list:

The time estimates are how I usually fire my kiln, but they can and should be altered depending on the pieces being fired (thickness/thinness, glazed firing vs. bisque, etc.).

On the left there are two lines. On the first you should write the time you did the action and on the second you should place a check mark that you actually did the action.
